Smart Digital Model:<\/strong> Every BIM model has multiple design elements that have parametric capabilities and host information about its properties.<\/p>\n

Model Data:<\/strong> This is all the information that is hosted in BIM models and are used for various purposes like scheduling, costing, consumption of energy and much more.<\/p>\n

Clash Detection:<\/strong> When a conflict occus between geometrics within one or two models it is called Clash or Clash Detection. It mostly happens between different AEC disciplines- MEP, structural, etc.<\/p>\n

BIM Levels & BIM Dimensions:<\/strong> There are 4 maturity levels of BIM which deal with degrees of collaboration between discoplines and the ability to exchange information digitally. Virtual 3D models will be developed with BIM Dimensions throughout the building’s lifecycle.<\/p>\n

Parametric Modeling:<\/strong> This allows you to make changes to a BIM model, geometric form or an object by modifying already defined parameters or constraints.<\/p>\n

Computational Design:<\/strong> This is a process that allows users to generate geometric forms that are complex and impossible. It is an excellent way to automate tedious tasks and to evaluate a variety of design options.<\/p>\n
