Microsoft HoloLens is a pair of mixed reality sunglasses matured and manufactured by Microsoft. Imagine being present in a business meeting overseas without actually traveling across half the world! Yes, virtual reality seemed like a distant dream, but HoloLens has made it possible. The mixed reality sunglass has made being virtually present at places possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Simply put, it is a holographic computer, made into a headset device which enables you to interact with holograms in living spaces. It can be regarded as a virtual reality headset, but it doesn\u2019t transport you to a completely different world, unlike VR. It is more of an Augmented Reality headset but has a lot of similarities to the Mixed Reality platform, and hence can be regarded as a mixed reality sunglass.<\/span>

The HoloLens was first released by Microsoft almost three years back, and Microsoft has been bettering the device ever since. The current version of the HoloLens features an inertial measurement unit, environment understanding sensors, light sensor, a four-microphone array, and an in-depth camera.<\/span>

\n<\/span>It has a head-mounted display unit connected to an adjustable inner headband which is cushioned. The user can also adjust the HoloLens forward, backward, and also up and down. The objective of this tech is to bridge the gap between space and time. This changes the relationship of the user with the technology. It changes from person to a collaborative one, where devices not just store information of the user, but also use it to collaborate with VR.<\/span><\/p>\n
